Question Bring file to front when I open it....

CS6:

When I double click on a file in the Files window, it opens behind the Files window. I'd like the Files window to go behind the open docs once I open a file.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance....

When I double click on a file I want to open, I can see that it opens, but the Files window is still sitting in front of it and I have to move the Files window out of the way to get to the doc.

In earlier versions of Dream, when I opened a doc, that doc would open and be right in front of me, and the Files window would go behind it.

"Application Frame" is turned on, (checked).

Toggle it off (uncheck it) by clicking on "Window" in the upper menu then in the drop-down click on "Application Frame" to uncheck it. Now your file will open in front of your "Files window"

Hope this helps...

Don't know why I assumed Mac as neither platform was referenced, (unless I missed that). Hope I didn't cause more confusion. Thanks for the clarification.
