Default Help with this problem (i dont even know what to call it)

Please bare with me. Teaching myself as I go, started a few days ago haha.

Ok so I'm using Dreamweaver to create the HTML code for my Newsletter.

Yesterday I learnt how to put text over and image by placing the image in a table/cell, cutting it and editing the td tag and placing a browser specific image.

Now, when I come to copy the code from the Dreamwever and place it in the newsletter creator in my CMS, everything works except the two places where I have text over images. Only the text is showing and I can't for the life of my find the src for the image that is supposed to be underneath it.

FYI, images souorces have been changed from hard drive location to FTP when moved over to the CMS and everything else works fine. This is what I've got so far.

Please help, I need to send this today. Thanks.

is this the for an html email newsletter or a newsletter on your site?

have you compared code before and after?

what is the "newsletter creator in my CMS"?

if it's not working and you're in a hurry i would suggest simplifying it - 'flatten' the design so you don't use background images - keep it simple to text and graphics this time around.

if you can could you upload all the files somewhere or show and online version? have you got drop box for example?

It's for a newsletter being created for a CS-Cart based website. CS-Cart has a basic Newsletter manager. I could create a better newsletter in photoshop/dreamweaver - or so I thought.

In regards to the image, I think I know what the issue is. In Dreamweaver I set the image the text sits over as a background?

When I copy all the code (CTRL+A) over from Dreamweaver this doesnt appear to copy over?! I have no idea why.

<tr>
<td colspan="2" width="600" height="200">
<table class="mainboxtext" border="0" width="550" align="center">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td valign="top" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" width="544">
<p>First of all we'd like to thank all our customers for their loyalty and support. Without your custom we wouldn't be the company we are today. So as a way of saying Thank You and as bit of an Easter Egg from us, you can use the discount code below for 15% off Phone and Tablet accessories on www.digitalsave.co.uk this Easter Weekend.</p>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</td>
</tr>

Any idea?

***this was reply***

Its for a HTML newsletter being compiled in CS-Carts Newsletter facility.

I've made the newsletter in Dreamweaver and want to copy the code and paste into the HTML editor in CS cart.

When I copy the code across, CS-Cart removes some sections of code like this.

This code needs to stick around to display my background pic right? CS Cart boots it out.

If you have an email I can send you a We Transfer zip with the files?

not familiar with that cart... can you type the html directly in the cart editor to fill in the missing bits?
