Default choice of sofware - Adobe

hello everyone

I am after some general help on DW and Adobe products. I am a designer and last used DW as version MX. I am a wiz at design in PS but do not code.

I am looking at starting sites again. I am considering Adobe cloud and using DW CC 2014 as appose to sticking to my old software MX.

are there considerable advantages for spending the money?

The new features I would like to include in designs myself without having to pay for coding are

Drop down menus
slide show banners
photo gallery

is this something that can be achieved in MX still? if so how.

or would it need to be new software, and would I need to use coding to do this anyway.

ANY HELP is well received

Thanks Scotty

if you are wanting to use the easy to use tools Dreamweaver provides which is a great way to learn web design I would recommend going with a recent version if you can.

The newer versions have much better support or support at all for responsive design and more modern css and JavaScript. I wouldn't recommend mx unless you are just using it as a code editor / ftp but that would a bit pointless as there are better code editors IMO.
