Default JavaScript Keeps re-appearing

Hi, no matter how many times I keep deleting the JavaScript from my html pages in Dreamweaver CS6 it keeps reappearing once I open the html again, can someone tell me why this is happening. JavaScript below and thanks in advance

<script type="text/javascript">
function mask(end,middle,start,subject){
var one ='mai';
var two='lto:';
var three='?Subject=';
//start,middle,end,subject;
var putogether= one+two+start+middle+end+three+subject;
document.location.href=eval('"'+putogether+'"');
window.status=putogether;
}
</script>

Hi edbr, sorry don't think I was too clear, I delete the JavaScript from my code in the html page in Dreamweaver and it reappears again when I reopen the html file in Dreamweaver. If I comment it out it returns underneath the commented code.
Thanks

is it part of a template or locked region?

what if you open the html doc in a text editor, remove the js, close it then open it again in DW?

Hi Dave, no its not part of a template or a locked region, but opening it up in Notepad and deleting the JavaScript code seems to have worked.
Thanks very much
