Default Looking for interesting options

hello

I have one question. Do you know how to do what you see in the picture? Starting and closing element are underlined when you activate one of them. And these elements are connected by a horizontal line. Changing the settings, some plugin? Perhaps already on the forum is the topic? I'm looking for, but it's hard for me to find. This image is a screen sublime text

thanks for the help,
Ands J.

Just use Sublime Text it's a great editor, the one I use.

Dreamweaver doesn't support the vertical lines, not many editors seem to. Check out the Dreamweaver code preferences as you can customise the look a decent amount but I'm fairly sure neither of these are available.

thats a nice feature in sublime text, in notepad++ it has a handy textfx that aligns code vertically and deletes blank lines which i like to use, is that an option in sublime? i couldnt find any thing like that

Not that I know of. The great thing about Sublime is the packages for it. If you want it do something there's a good chance they'll be a package for it.

I really like Sublime the only thing I miss is the built in FTP that Coda 2 has but I still use Sublime for my day to day work. If I'm ever working directly on the server I always use Coda 2.

I do miss Dreamweavers sync ability, the ability to push a file up and it know exactly where in the folder structure to place it.

Adobe brackets looks like its coming on well too.

To be honest they nearly all have one or two nice features and none of them are perfect. I have a copy of Notepad++ on my virtual machine for small edits. Seems decent.

Thats for sure. i like dw for its synch and i send regular table based newsletters and i find design view the easiest way to modify the changes but its a bit of a habit.
notepad++ id i use for direct editing from the server usually via filezilla. i like the sublime layout but not sure will buy at 70$.
i have looked at a lot of IDE's and seemed to have settled on codelobster lite, it is often updated and is a good basic editor i like the connection to mysql so i is easier to reference fields and records, it cost something like 25$ ish for a license.

and i found the package trimmer on sublime which is great for losing blank lines and whitespace.

good to hear. good double act
lately i have finally got around to editing old sites from mysql to mysqli and PDO before PHP 5.5 becomes the norm. and i must say sublime text 2 is getting used a lot so imight rethink that register, I 'm probably being a miser but I think its a bit overpriced.
