Default Magnify/Zoom for "Background" images?

I've looked around a lot but cannot find and js or jQ plugins to add a magnifying glass type zoom for "Background" images. I'm using background images on my site rather than just placing normal images into the div so they can't be stolen off the site so easily.

Please let me know if you know about a background image zoomer.
Thanks!

I question if it's worth the time and effort to do it that way.

In any case, since background images display at full size, you'd need a larger version of the image for the zoom and you'd probably have to display the larger image as an image.

I don't know of any prebuilt script that does that.

Thanks! I didn't realize that.

Any simple recommendations on protecting the image then? (other than a watermark)
