I am working on this web site: www.lawnmanicurist.com/gallery.html and I have some photos on it. Everything was loading fine until now. When I open the image to view the enlargement in Internet Explorer it takes forever to download it. When I use Mozilla Firefox I get a pop up asking me to tell Firefox what to do with it and yet when I use Google, the images load perfectly.

Can anyone please help?

Thank you

It's always a good idea to place an image on an html page rather than link directly to it. That way you can provide some navigation for the user.

Also, why is the larger image so big? I'd think 800 by 600 pixels would be fine. The larger image just takes longer to download and display and doesn't display full size anyway.

Agree with JC. Those images are far too big in physical and file size. make them smaller, optimise and perhaps use a photo gallery like; http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/ to display them.

your logo should be an 8-bit png or gif and the correct size (as mentioned above)

incidentally that lemon yellow is very 1990s

how about more of a softer stone colour?
