Default Drop down menu children go up in IE instead of down

Hello all:

I am having a problem with my spry menu bar children going up in IE on Windows, but is fine in FF (mac and windows), (Safari, Opera, Camino (Mac)).**

There is also a small gap between the parent and children buttons that I tried to correct with a top setting of 2.95ems on the ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul.

I've read all the threads on here and can't seem to solve this. Can anyone please help?

Here is the site http://www.expeditionwild.com/

Here is some of my spry css. Thanks for any help you can give this newbie.

Code:
ul.MenuBarHorizontal
{
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
list-style-type: none;
font-size: 100%;
cursor: default;
width: 1000px;
background-color: #CC9;
}
/* Set the active Menu Bar with this class, currently setting z-index to accomodate IE rendering bug: http://therealcrisp.xs4all.nl/meuk/IE-zindexbug.html */
ul.MenuBarActive
{
z-index: 1000;
}
/* Menu item containers, position children relative to this container and are a fixed width */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal li
{
margin: 0;
list-style-type: none;
position: relative;
text-align: center;
cursor: pointer;
width: 250px;
float: left;
padding-right: 0;
padding-bottom: 0;
padding-left: 0;
height: 40px;
background-color: #CC9;
}
/* Submenus should appear below their parent (top: 0) with a higher z-index, but they are initially off the left side of the screen (-1000em) */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul
{
list-style-type: none;
font-size: 100%;
z-index: 1020;
cursor: default;
width: 8.2em;
position: absolute;
left: -1000em;
top: 0;
background-image: url(../images_FINAL_DROP_DOWN_TEST_SITE/Link_Button_1x40_SQUARE_Background_OVER.gif);
padding-top: 2.95em;
}
/* Submenu that is showing with class designation MenuBarSubmenuVisible, we set left to auto so it comes onto the screen below its parent menu item */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
{
left: auto;
}
/* Menu item containers are same fixed width as parent */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul li
{
width: 8.2em;
padding: 0px;
margin-top: -1px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: -40px;
}
/* Submenus should appear slightly overlapping to the right (95%) and up (-5%) */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul ul
{
position: absolute;
margin-right: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-left: -95%;
margin-top: -5%;
}
/* Submenu that is showing with class designation MenuBarSubmenuVisible, we set left to 0 so it comes onto the screen */
ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul.MenuBarSubmenuVisible ul.MenuBarSubmenuVisible
{
left: auto;
}

Default Drop down menu children go up in IE instead of down

Im not able to use the drop down menu at the bottom to skip to another forum. This morning too. Thought maybe it was a maintenance thing but its been all day. No drop down.

It's working for me in FF. Can someone else confirm this in IE?
