Question Keywords

Ok so inserting keyword for search engine crawlers. How many to put in without stacking and what is the best way to do it? Like for instance.... (concrete painting) Do i put just one word then a comma like "concrete, painting, california," or do I put "concrete painting california, San Diego concrete painting, San Francisco concrete painting, " Or is better to put just a list of words seperated by commas or group them all together like "concrete, painting, california, San Diego,...."concrete painting califonia, concrete painting San Diego" How do they best work. Also search engines read the first 35 words on the home page? I want to get better rankings.... Basiclly any guides or help on S.E.O. Thanks

Edbr is correct.

Beyond that, I would focus on one or two keywords per page and use them

In the file name of the page (if possible and it dowesn;t make the name too long)

In the title tag of the page

In the main headline (h1 tag of the page)

And in a natural manner in the copy of the page.

However, there is a limit to what you can accomplish with on-page optimization. It's basically your starting point. Once you've done that, you need to concentrate on building links to your site. As for links, the best:

Are from pages with pages that have content related to yours.

Are from pages that are "authority" rather than spammy sites.

Are text rather than image links with the text containing your keyword(s).

Don't have the rel="nofollow" attribute (which essentially tells search engines to ignore them) applied.

Rather than focus on the keywords meta tag which is basically ignored by search engines you should write a better description. Use natural language and include a couple of your keywords. A nice, tight sentence or two will do it.

Also, ideally you should have a different description for each page. One that focuses on the content of that page.
