Angry Flash Auto Resizing

Hey guys

Basically, my problem is this-

I have a SWF that I made myself, and I set it in flash so that the demensions were %- 100% and 100%

It shows well in the web browser if the browswer is rectangular (because that's the shape of my canvas) but then if the browswer is square, then there's this piece of background added on to the bottom and top of the animation, to maintain the rectangle canvas... because I set it to 100% by 100%.

Does that make sense?

So basically I want the animation to be 100% wide, and scaled appropriately. That's it. I already have achieved that, but I have the problem mentioned above (there's a chunk of background added to the top and bottom of my animation on square browsers)

Is there a way to get rid of the chunks added, or is there another method of doing this?

Thanks! If this doesn't make sense, feel free to ask questions.
Best Regards,
David Zhu
