Angry Help....Remote Server......Live View....

Hey Guys and Gals

I need help, how the #$%$# do you setup a remote server, I am doing a site in .php and need to setup a remote server php thing so I can see what page looks like....

HOW...do you do it.
What software do I need to do this , and I need a dummies guide to set it up.

I admit this is all new to me, most pages I have done in .html and can view them no problem.

Is anyone out there will to help me.

i think what you mean is a local server on your computer which in DW terms will be the remote site.
yahoogle WAMP, or easy php or xampp . they are self installing
they are self installing servers with php mysal and apacheservers with php and mysql

I use WAMP which you can get for free here.

If you need help with this then try looking at DavidJ's video tutorials here on this site. He has a beginners guide to PHP which includes how to set up all you need to get started including WAMP.

Actually you can set up a Testing Server locally (using WAMP or whatever) and also set up a remote site (the actual server where your site is hosted).
