Default Changing Fonts > Inserts new cells in tables.

I've been putting off switching from Frontpage03 to DW CS3 forever! ...until I finally had no choice.

Making the adjustments is not easy. Anyhow, here's my current problem.

In my existing HTML document, I have certain text coded as follows;
<td width="29%" align="right"><font face="Arial" size="2">Address 1</font></td>

As soon as I go change anything about that text, such as size or font, DW immediately inserts another cell or table into the existing table, and then makes the adjustment.
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#111111" width="95%" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td width="29%" align="right"><font face="Arial"><span class="style8">Staff</span></font></td>
</tr>
</table>

So basically, I can't make any changes without distorting my table. It's only happening to text in Cells.

Please let me know what might be causing this action?
Perhaps the document needs to be convert to DW somehow?

Thank you!

Convert your design to CSS, tables are very hard to edit as you are discovering.

For a quick fix can't you just make all the edits in code view to prevent DW adding cells etc.

You don't need to convert to DW, DW just deals with HTML which is the same whether you've wrote it by hand DW has created or Frontpage.
