Question Background image not showing...

Hello again....

Okay, ive inserted a Div tag to act as my background image. I have sorted the Z indexes approprately i.e.

bgimagemain = 1
header = 2
body = 2
...you get the picture

Anyway, i assigned a CSS rule (bg_main) with the rule:

background-image: url(Images/bg_section.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-y;
position: relative;
background-attachment: fixed;

It shows up great in Dreamweaver (using MX 2004), but wont show in I.E. 7....at all. Although if i set another Div with this CSS rule it shows?

I am at school so unable to test this probel with other browsers (i.e. Mozilla Firefox).

Anyone got any ideas ?

I don't think z-index works with relative positioning. Re-think your approach to the build. I'd add background image to the body tag using CSS.

Corrosive is right,z-index is not needed for creating a layout.
