Default Logo Icon On Images?

I have an art portfolio website. Do you think it would be best to tag each photo of my artwork with a small logo icon, or is just being on my website "safe"/ok enough?

I need opinions.

I can't post the website up yet since I have a problem with the host(again) and copyrights, but sometimes the logo can be in "different sizes" depending on the artwork size. Also it sometimes conflicts with the artwork since I would have to sometimes place the logo on top of the art image even if it's faded or see thru.

Please if anyone has any opinions. That'll be great.

If people want to copy your online images they will. So if it's an issue for you watermark them (or add the logo) to make the image less usable. Personally I find it's generally not worth the effort. Just include a copyright notice on your site and if you find somebody "borrowing" the images, tell them to stop.
If my answer helped, check out DWcourse.com for Dreamweaver tips and tutorials.

if its your art work i would keep small and low res images clear (ie thumbnails) but put a translucent watermark higher res bigger images
