Question Linking to external javascript file

Hi

I have designed a website www.mentalhealthstrategies.co.uk and my javascript at the minute is written in the head section of every page. I want to put this javascript code into an external file called mhs.js, I have done this but am not sure how to link each page to the external file.

I have tried the following code in the head section of every page but this doesn't seem to work
<script language="javascript" src="mhs.js"></script>

What am I doing wrong?

Please help

Just a suggestion but try...

<script type="text/javascript" src="mhs.js"></script>

and check the path to the script is correct as well.

In the .js file don't include the opening
<script type="text/JavaScript">
<!--

or the closing

//-->
</script>

I would use css for rollovers instead of javascript.
