Default Use link to submit form

I want to use a blank link as in href="#". onclick, I want to submit a form that this link is part of. Can anybody advise?

href="#" is not a valid URI.

Can you explain in other words what you want to do?

I got it sorted out. I was just using that "h ref = "#" as a placeholder for a target, that is commonplace enough in web development.

or you could always style a submit button so it just looks like text
