Default How to set SUDO permissions?

Hi guys, I am quite new to dreamweaver wonder if anyone can help me with this urgent problem. I am contracting for a company and I do not have write permissions to any folders. But I am told if I set sudo permissions I will be ok.

Here is what I am given.

Normally, when your SFTP client logs into the server, it runs the command "/usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server" (on the server-side) in order to start up an SFTP session. If you tell it to run "sudo /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server" instead, it will start an SFTP session will root permissions (you don't need the root password for this; just your normal one).

Is this possible?
