Question Gradient question

Hi All,

I've got an idea for a gradient I'd like to use on a website, but I'm not sure how to go about creating it in Photoshop...or if it's even possible. I'd like it to change from a dark color at the top to a lighter color at the bottom, and also fade from transparent on both the left and right.

Any idea if this is possible, and if it is, how to do it? Thanks in advance for any input or ideas.

You're getting into PNGs there... PNGs are great but browser support is not 100% yet.

If you want it to go full width and full height you're going to struggle but it can be done on a smaller scale with one image.

I'd go the one image route personally.
