Upgrade or Full version? How do I tell what I have?
I am looking at buying a Dreamweaver 4 / Fireworks 4 Studio software from a friend who bought it several years ago and never installed it and therefore didn't register it.
He is famous for impulse software buys.
He says he paid several hundred dollars for it back then but doesn't remember much else.
It's is an OEM Macromedia disc, purple in color, silver and black printing, with the brand new manuals for Dreamweaver 4 and Fireworks 4.
The disc is for Win 2000, Win NT 4 and Win98.
#ZWBW40CDX is printed on the disc.
Ser. # on the paper sleeve is WBW400-05743-34336-XXXXX and is a valid ser. # according to the Adobe website.
I couldn't find anywhere on the website how to tell upgrade from full version.
How can I tell if it's a full version or an upgrade without installing it ???
Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't buy it, Dreamweaver 4 is now several years old and won't have proper support for CSS. You may as well just use notepad.
You'd be better saving for a bit longer and getting either the latest release or at least Dreamweaver Studio 8.
