Default Can't name a page..

I can't change the title of my pages made from this template code:
!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

<title> </title>

<link href="../rghtsidebar.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

This is what the same area looks like in one of the other pages made FROM the temp; note the gray area is uneditable in the codeview.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/Best Lighter Temp.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

<title>this is where I can't change the page title</title>

<link href="mylocalcss" />
<!--[if IE]>
<style type="text/css">
/* place css fixes for all versions of IE in this conditional comment */
.twoColLiqRtHdr #sidebar1 { padding-top: 30px; }
.twoColLiqRtHdr #mainContent { zoom: 1; padding-top: 15px; }
/* the above proprietary zoom property gives IE the hasLayout it needs to avoid several bugs */
</style>
<![endif]-->
<style type="text/css">

I saved a page as a temp earlier and intentionally REsaved it over an existing temp. It asked me about something, and instance? sorry can't remember, said it wasn't found. It asked if I wanted to put it in the head and I said yes.
lame..mind you but I can't remember.
None of my other temps do this.
Thanks!

Fixed it...made a new bogus temp and found the different code that works and pasted it into that existing temp. something to do with editable regions.
LEARNING!!

Remember when working with a dwt that areas you want editable such as the title need to be outside the non-editable sections.
