Default Access 2003?

Hello all,
Does anybody use Access 2003 and if so how difficult is it to create an online form recording database?

Hello

I used to use Access for databases but for off line only. I would not use Access for any online databases. Use PHP and MySQL.

You also get more flexibility and also it will look better.

OK thanks,
cocoonfx.

I have been asked if I can sort out a form that records inforamtion and saves it to a database for later use.
The form has to have Name, Email, Home Address, Telephone, Date of Birth.
This person has already got and uses Access 2003 and I was just thinking if there is a quick fix really.

i think the general advise re access is dont for security reasons. if you use php you could export the records as a csv file and that can be read by excel. If that helps

php and mysql is the way to go

a quick table and a form you'd be up and running in an hour or so

thanks digitaldesperad,
great link, but it seems now my client wants to manually input his data, so I can now just make a form to mail.
