Default Google Search Question

Hi,

How did you accomplish this or was it something that google did? Primarily the block of links.

Hi 2b

These are referred to as 'sitelinks' by Google. This is from Google themselves..."Sitelinks are completely automated, and we show them only if we think they'll be useful to the user. If your site's structure doesn't allow our algorithms to find good sitelinks, or we don't think that the sitelinks are relevant to the user's query, we won't show them. However, we are always working to improve how we find and display sitelinks."

Nope (although may be selling him short, sorry Dom) I think it's because there is lots of useful stuff and probably a decent site map.

You're both kinda right I think.
In order for Google to understand the structure of the website, it needs to be organized properly, and the semantics needs to make sense. But if the website is not useful and has good info, I don't think they'd bother making search results like that for us.
