Default Changing the backgroup color of a PSD file?

I made a image but I'm trying to change the background color from white. How can I do this?

You should really try and set the BG Colour before you start but you could insert a solid colour fill as your second layer and that should do it. Otherwise, copy the bits of the image you want and create a new PSD, with the colour you want and paste them on.

1. Click the "background"-layer.
2. Click the brush tool.
3. Set the brush tool to 1000 pixels or whaever it needs to cover your whole picture, and set the colour you want the background to be.
4. Draw.

Nice one,
here's my approach:
1. Select bg layer
2. Edit ->Fill
3. White - >OK

Nice one,
here's my approach:
1: Select BG Layer.
2: Click foreground colour swatch and select a colour (or use colour picker)
3: Hit ALT+DEL
