(24 months @ $7.4 with FREE setup)** Dont understand, dont I pay monthly?? IM SORRY, i might be a bit thick but i cant see why they charge me that amount....its quite expensive 100 odd euros.
-Yes, you can pay monthly.
-No, getting a free domain is not directly related to hosting.
-100 euroes for 2 years hosting is not expensive, it's incredible cheap.
-Don't pay in advance if you don't want to.
-Read all the information on a webhosts website. All the information will be there.
-If you have specific question regarding the service of a specific host, call them
-Another good option, where service is more important than money: insiderhosting.com

Clara.net
29.99 a year (includes domain name)
Web mail.
Online site maintenance.
And available on the phone, really helpful.

I used to use Clara a lot... I use Media Temple now. (Multi site and reseller tho, you don't need anything like that)
Only 10mb of webspace on clara light package Rob. Africano wants to show his photos (I imagine in good quality) so this may be too small.

You can always upgrade pretty easily though, just watch the costs of the larger packages. Hosting can be a bit of a minefield I'm afraid.

Ok, ive been doing a bit of reading....Im gonna have to go for one that I can pay using paypal as I dont have a credit card. Site5.com doesnt let you pay via paypal so my options are the following, please advice on which might be better from features and maybe some users experience.

1&1 Webhosting would be about 18 euros for a year:1gb webspace and 10g web transfer to and from site/month.

The others Ive looked at but have no reference from(dont know if they are any good are :
Host papa-https://hostpapa.co.uk/index.shtml and
http://www.hostmonster.com/hosting-features.htm

These three options let me pay via paypal so its what Im looking at....any clues?
