Cool fuzzy image !!!!! H E L P

My image, in this case is a simple monogram with edwardian script ITC.
I need it with a transparent background to be inserted on my site. When I save it as gif with transparency, it is fuzzy when i see it on my browser.
There are a some other things that i need to check or uncheck when i save it?
What is that i need to do in order to get perfect clean and sharp fonts on my image???
Thanks

You should be able to select a "matte" color which matches the color of your site's background (if your site has a simple background). The exported transparent gif will then look nicer against a background if the background's color is close to or the same as what you set "matte" to before exporting.

posting a link helps a lot so we can see it in situ, and saying what graphics application and export/save as settings (and antialias settings) your using would make it easier to trouble shoot, though it sounds like cary has probably hit the nail on the head
