Default Using a home PC as a server

I have an Apple Powerbook and a Dell PC in my home, connected to a netgear 802.11G/wired ethernet router. PC is on ethernet, laptop is on wifi. I do my web work on my laptop. How can I use the other PC as a server to test my work on, so that I don't have to pay for hosting until I'm finished with my site? The other PC is always on and always internet connected, but the laptop is not.

Look up WAMP.
Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP server.

Install it on your desktop.

just use 1 machine. Preferably the PC.

then just set 2 directories up for local and remote
