Hello Everybody,

What are the benefits of having your own Forum on technical issues like say web Design or something like that? As I know there are plenty out there.

And secondly How someone should promote his forum across the world (not a table off-course)?

Does this idea will help me in getting more freelancing stuff?

Thnx for your time…

You're heading in the entirely wrong direction here I think
People are not going to hire you to do freelance work because you took the time to set up a web design forum. What's your target audience? If it's local, I would start networking around the area where you live. If you think of getting clients through the internet, there's already websites like elance etc that is built specifically to be a meeting place for freelancers and the people that wants to hire them.

Building you own forum means sacrificing time, money and not working on other projects
