Angry Issue with ASP pages NOT displaying with my GoDaddy hosted site

I initially developed my site on my local machine. The site worked like a charm. Now that I have uploaded my site, the dynamic pages do not display. I get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Driverserror '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
/sitename/contactus/index.asp, line 130

I have since created the "access_db" folder, moved my database to that folder, and generated a new DSN within my GoDaddy hosting account. Both had to be done to have my site hosted.

My connection.asp page code is:
' FileName="Connection_odbc_conn_dsn.htm"
' Type="ADO"
' DesigntimeType="ADO"
' HTTP="true"
' Catalog=""
' Schema=""
MM_connNAME_STRING = "dsn=access_alpha.dsn;"

The error comes from the contact us page. I have copied a piece of the code where the error is calling from:

line 129
Set rs_contactus = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

line 130
rs_contactus.ActiveConnection = MM_connNAME_STRING

line 131
rs_contactus.Source = "SELECT * FROM tbl_contactus ORDER BY ID DESC"

Please help! I am not sure where to go from here....

Thanks - Matt

Your connection string may not be right. Check this out to figure out your options:

For what I can see your connection string points to a local database. You need to do a mappath connection if the database is in the same directory as your files or find out what your database physical address is. You can find this by asking your provider or may be in the documentation of your webshost. Also there is a little code that may help here:

DW | FW | HTML | CSS | ASP | some PHP | Windows | Ubuntu
