How to create a footer for my website?

Can anyone help me how to create a footer for my old website which used php to develop?

its just a div usually width: 100% : clear:both:

is that what yo are asking? the clear isnt really needed if 100% position it relative in side a wrapping container

I think you can create a footer using simple HTML codes.

You can create a footer using simple html nfact there is a footer tag, and whether or not there is any dynamic data in it you can call the footer with a include footer.php function. Simply save the html into a file called footer.php and point te function to that.
