Unhappy Need Help with Accordion sections

I know nothing about jquery as it pertains to Accordion. I have created an Accordion and populated it with data. I am using Dreamweaver CC (Latest). I want all section to be closed on load. And I have no idea how to get rid of the drop-down space under the last section which is empty at this time.

It would appear the only code at the bottom of the page is

<script type="text/javascript">
$(function() {

I have reviewed many of the recommendations. Any modifications in the () after accordion renders all functionality moot. They disappear. I am left with data on the web page.
