IE9 and accordion

Hi,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction please. The link below works fine in safari and firefox but fails to work in everybody's favourite IE9. The Spry accordion is the default version with Dreamweaver CS5.5.

Would greatly appreciate some pointers.

I'd recommend to look for another JS library such as jQuery, because Adobe stopped 2 years ago already development/support with Spry. The last changelog is even from feb 2008.

I've taken you advice and I'm using a third party accordion script which works well - and works in IE!

Not wishing to sound ungrateful - any idea as to how I can reduce the height of the section headers in sections 2, 3 4 etc? Iv'e added to the header code the line :-
heightStyle: "content"

More in hope than having an idea that it may work - but to no avail.

Using jQuery-ui for only an accordion is quite an overkill... did you see how large these files are?

I had a look, but couldn't see yet what's causing it... the only thing is I see now is that the first header panel is only a h2 and the rest has an anchor tag inside that h2.

Anyway... will have a better look when I have time.

All the jQuery lark is a little new to me and therefore had know idea about the file size!

I've found a CSS script which I'm hoping will generate a smaller size file? Rather than waste any more of your time I'll try that and see how i get on.

Yeah just look for a jQuery accordion plugin.... you can do accordions with CSS if you want, but these techniques don't work in older browsers such as IE8 and below.

It is always seen that there are some difference shown in browsers. you should check dreamweaver version.
