Wordpress Challanges

Hi Guys

I have completely customised a wordpress site but I am stuck on two things which I need some assistance with.

I have the Blog area as one particular category - uncategorised for blogging and comments

The client wants to have the URL

 www.progressionpartnership.com/category/uncategorised changed to http://www.progressionpartnership.com/blog

However when I change the .htaccess to redirect the URL wordpress thinks that the blog is a page. How can I tell the site just to change the URL to blog? very stuck on this.

Second issue.

I have a tag cloud

www.progressionpartnership.com/wordle

I can not get the tag cloud to have muliple colours. Like on the blog! any ideas? on how to do this?

for the tag cloud you could use a attribute and tag selectors based upon the style attribute for the font-size: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_att..._selectors.asp

As far as i know when we want to make changes to the WordPress Theme. WordPress default provide the feature of a built-in function to edit the themes from within the browser. We can edit the files and upload to site through an FTP client.

Why don't you go to categories and change the slug to "blog"?
