Default Added additional Spry Collapsible Panel

I've gone through the existing posts on this problem but havent been able to pinpoint any obvious causes to the problem.

I've reworked the site a bit and now I've been asked to add an additional event to the website. you see on the sidebar the new item in question is Vegas 10/20/12.

The panel does not open collapsed nor does the rollover effect work.

What I did here was duplicated the code from the event right above, while making the appropriate changes naming it event7.

Thanks in Advance,
Matt

All the way at the bottom of your code, you'll see the a bit of JavaScript which belongs to those collapsible panels. You will have to add var collapsiblePanel7 their as well. Just make a copy of 6 and change it to 7.

Thank you! Now I see that section should probably be moved to the php include file. somehow back when I started I left a copy of the vars on each page.

edit: nevermind, that didnt work from my sidebar php include. is there a way to pull those variables from a remote file so they dont need to be changed on every page?

Thanx again

That's weird. My thought is that it should not matter if you place that javascript function before the closing div tag of sidebar (thus in your sidebar include).

Otherwise make a new PHP include where you place that javascript function in and include it at the bottom of the pages where you have it now, so if you have to add a new one you only have to add it to that PHP include.

thank you gentleone. this is not a huge site and easy enough to change for now... just wondered for next time.

I've got to do the same thing on the events page with spry accordion so I'll try there too to see if I have any more luck with separating it.
