Default Jumping Spry Menu!

Dear All,
I have created a spry menu, it is aligned to the right, with a sub menu coming out to the right of that. The problem is, when you click on the menu options the text link jumps to the left, the main menu word jumps significantly, the sub menu less. I have looked through the code a thousand times and have probably added useless and unhelpful code by now......
Have been looking through forums and online for the past 2 hours - any help would be greatly apprecaited!
Fizzy

It's a lot easier to diagnose this issue if we can see a live page. Can you provide a url?

That layout is very confusing. I suspect the issue may have something to do with htis rule but can't be certain.

Code:
a:active {
	text-decoration: none;
	text-align: center;
}
