Hello there,
I'm currently working on a property website which will consist of a number of properties for sale and or rent. I will be using a search function within the site. I have followed and successfully installed the Video Tutorial on the website uploaded by Neon Fluxx "Installing PHP/MySQL/Apache with WAMP Server for Dreamweaver". Thanks for this tutorial. I want to know if the following info is correct and that I understand how dreamweaver and php: I create a database in myphp with however many fields are needed I then create a form in dreamweaver this populates the database I create a search dialogue box which will match the fields in my database which once ticked and submitted sends a query to the database and then displays the selected results Regards blanchard

Just before you crack on. Have you considered all your options? A CMS might be a better fit for this than coding it from scratch.

Ok cheers I've got Joomla,
So I guess that I create the database from my webspace or myphpadmin control panel. Then direct Joomla to the databse and take it from there. Regards Blanchard

I'd approach it by seeing what plug-ins are available that will do what you want. If you install Joomla you should get a database created with it. I'm no expert in Joomla btw I tend to use Modx if I need CMS.
