Default Submenu side by side

Hi everyone,

First time here but I think I'll be coming back often as I have more and more questions the further I get into this whole web-design bit.

I've been working on my site for about a month now, and I'm attempting to utilize a horizontal menu bar with a submenu. My question just so happens to involve this submenu.

I have around 15-30 categories that I want to include in the submenu, and I don't want them to ALL list vertically, straight down the page because it will be too long and may adversely effect the visuals.

So my question is, how in the heck do you set the menu bar to display the submenu in two columns, one right next to the other?

I hope that all makes sense. Cheers.

Well I figured this out too. The process is simply expanding the outer frame of the submenu either by entering a new value in the code or by using the expanding thing with the mouse and clicks and all that.

I'm sure glad I joined this forum where I can answer all my own questions, by the way. I know it's not a tech support place per say but geez, I'm sure out of the 20 or so people that read this one or two could have told me that. As a new member I'll try and be a good example for the slackers.

You're right, it's not a support forum But it seems that everyone asks a support/problem issue as their first post that they need help with.

A common first time mistake is not giving any information that is needed to debug or figure out what is going on. Also not many people use Spry, and I honestly think it will be removed from future versions of DW.

Thanks for posting the solution. It will help future members, but with your permission I would change the title of this thread for something more precise like 'Submenu side by side"

They should replace it with a JQuery interface IMO. Don't think that'll happen though
