Scrolling DIVs

I have searched this forum for quite some time now and couldn't find what I was looking. So the problem is that I want to make a couple of AP divs to scroll at the same time.

Let's say for example I have 12 divs with each divs containing 1 image and a few text. They are all under 1 main div which means I have 1 main div and 12 divs inside it. The layout can only show 6 divs at one time, so to show the rest it has to scroll down.

How can I put all the 12 divs (inside the main div) in one page and yet be able to scroll them down so it won't overlap the layout?

first try using rwlative divs for layout. give the containing div a hieight and allow overflow

It works with the default scroll bar. Now what if I want to use a custom scroll bar like the dw scroll? I managed to use that scroll bar on a single div, but not on this one which has more.

possible with css for webkit but you should maybe look at jquery or javascriptfor across the board display.

Is there any other choices than jquery and javascript?
