What's your online strategy to gain Facebook Likes?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and i'm wondering if people really have a strategy to gain more Facebook likes for a random small company? Sure, i can make quality posts and update my Fb-page very often, but it ain't gaining me a lot of likes. I'm also advertising but it costs me 20 dollar for 15 likes.

What do you do to gain more FB Likes?

Hi edbr,

What would you suggest? Gain the first 200 a 300 likes with Facebook ads and then you get some likes slowly every day/week?

what advantages do you expect to get from more likes. how high is that on the google algorithm? if you plan to sell through facebook then it can have a good effect ..perhaps. but if its for search engine promotion. id let it happen organically and monitor the progress. then decide. and dont forget about other social media.

I'm not gaining links to get higher in the search engines... We seriously get the best results for pages who got Likes/shares... Without link building, with good content which we can share with hundreds ... gives a quality statement... in my opinion... and in different benchmarks we see that the articles with the most shares/likes etc have the most incoming daily traffic without sharing the post endless times...

Articles with +/- 80 likes are giving us 60 visitors each every day...
Same subject, same optimalisation with +/- 20 likes gives us 20 visitors each day... We only pushed the message once within Facebook/Twitter in 2014...

I'm probably critical and i don't believe what anybody is telling me... i want my own benchmarks

Facebook likes don't effect your SEO and it's simple.. links aren't tracked and it doesn't help you with on page-optimalisation... Njah i'm just convinced bouncepercentages and the experience of the user is way more important, than some links :) Especially for the long term ;-)

My question was if anybody had methods to gain likes for a beginning Facebook Page... I'm always listening, but i'm not telling anyone things if i didn't benchmark them myself.
