Fixing URL on homepage
Hi All,
I have built a WP website and uploaded it to the server, with little issues. The only issue (i can find) is the URL on the homepage. Instead of just being displayed as https://www.phoenixcreativemarketing.co.uk/ it displays as https://www.phoenixcreativemarketing...v=79cba1185463. How do i remove the ?v=79cba1185463. after the dash from displaying in the URL? Thanks. |
htaccess you will have to go-ogle it but shpuld be easy to find an online generator

Thats just a php query you have inserted behind the url, you can do that with any url that you need i dont see anything that points to the base url with the query attached. I doubt even more google has indexed it .
If it does you have a WordPress issues somewhere in the theme. Homepages shouldn't show their queries. Infact checking its not even a legitimate query resolved to nothing go ahead change the number and values...it still has the same result. Look at your permalink settings in wp look at your homepage / frontapge template for the variables on the url. I mean you have your https and www version redirects all setup properly, by htacess or a plugin i presume. So how could you have issues with a non existing url... |
