Recently we upgraded our equipment.
What we had:
1. Window XP - DW-CS5
2. Two drives. "D"= Data "C" = programs etc.
Routine:
1. Open DW - Open "Manage Sites" (list of clients) All files contained on "D" drive.
2. Edit Site.
New system
1. Installed Windows 7
2. Installed: Drive "C' Used for programs etc.
3. Moved over "D" drive from old computer. All data files including clients files
4. When we moved drive to new machine it became "E" drive.
5. Changed drive to "D" drive to accommodate files saved to "D" drive in old machine.
Challenge:
1. We found that we no longer had a list of clients sites when we opened DW/manage sites.
2. We created a test site to verify where the files are being saved. However when we go to save the site we get a root error/warning
Question:
1. Is there a way to configure what file & drive will be read when opening the manage sites window?
It feels like there is just one or two items to configure without going into the registry. We have tried the DW preferences with no results.
Thanking you in advance for your time.
