Hello,

I am in the devlopment stage of a responsive html5/css website using a template. i'm new at this so i opted to work with what i thought was a simple template.

i am stuck at a few points and need an expert to help me.

i think using TeamViewer would be best so I can learn while you help.

I will pay you to help me get this thing off my desk!

thanks!:smile:

hi edbr

the site is now live
http://catherinemccarthy.ca/

so i am having a few issues.
I can't seem to get the text-transform:none to work on the pageintro

also, the pageintro slider has different heights which i'm guessing is because some slides have a second line of text.

i have used the template http://www.os-templates.com/free-website-templates/encovers

but have modified it quite a bit as you can see.

could you help with these issues? thanks!:smile:

here is the css for pageintro

also, how to get the images to appear lighter??? i do not see any opacity values!!

#pageintro{
text-transform:none;}

#pageintro .slides{}
#pageintro .slides li{}
#pageintro .slides li::after{display:block; position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:100%; height:100%; content:"";}
#pageintro .slides li .flex-content{padding:250px 0 150px; text-align:center; z-index:1;}
#pageintro .slides li .flex-content *{margin:0; white-space:normal; word-wrap:break-word;}
#pageintro .slides li .flex-content .heading{margin-bottom:15px; font-size:80px;}
#pageintro .slides li .flex-content p:first-of-type{max-width:50%; margin:0 auto 30px; line-height:1.4;}

#pageintro .slides li .flex-content{padding:250px 0 150px; text-align:center; z-index:1;}

that is adding padding which effectively controls the visible size
ie
#pageintro .slides li .flex-content{padding:25px 0 15px; text-align:center; z-index:1;}

and you can see the difference

you can effect opacity here example
#pageintro .slides{opacity: 0.5;}

I can't seem to get the text-transform:none to work on the pageintro
not sure what you are wanting to do

also, the pageintro slider has different heights which i'm guessing is because some slides have a second line of text.
