View Full Version : Embed code into a Hotspot

Greetings all,

New member of the forum.

My question is how do I embed a YouTube code into a hotspot. I have done it before using text links, but never a hotspot. Should be simple, but I haven't figured it out yet.

The code uses the <iframe> tag.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Running DW CS5.

Just trying to embed a YouTube video in a hotspot. I have used embedded code before in text links but never in hotspots. I am thinking it may have to do with the <iframe> tag. And the fact that there is not a "href" notation.

Here is a sample of the code I am looking to use:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxxxxxxxxxx" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I would like to open the video in a new window, instead of going to the YouTube website with all the junk around.

Do you think this is all possible?

Thanks for your advice.

a hot spot provides for a link so you could use some javascript i would say.

Javascript is beyond my expertise, but not to say someone could write what I would think would be some simple code.

So at this time I guess I will stick with what I have.

Thanks for your help.
