View Full Version : Need help with my website (newbie, should be simple)

Hello everyone.
I am short in time and I would like some guidance.

I am finishing my studies and my last portfolio has to presented on a web site.
I don't want to use free website creators because I don't like them.

I know dreamweaver basics and my website is about to be finished.

Now, I don't want it to go live, I don't want to host online it unless there is a simple and free, addless way of doing it (i don't think there is)

My plan is to simply put it on a cd and give it in hand.
My question is, can I make an executable file that simply runs the website directly from the cd? The point here is to avoid having people opening the cd and searching for the html file to open my website because it is not very professional or simple.

Is this possible?
Are there any other ways or can I even host it easily for free?

Thanks in advance!
