For the life of me I cant seem to figure out how I lost the top two rounded corners for the container div. I would appreciate any pointers. Thanx

.container {
width: 1000px;
margin: auto;
margin-top: 30px;
background-color: #ffffff;
border-radius: 30px;
-webkit-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
}

delete
-webkit-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-border-radius: 40px;
just a guess but not consistent anyway box-radius shou be enough

I'll give that a try. it was fine until I tried to add another div inside the container div. I was trying to add a colored strip inside the top of the div but didnt like the square corners. when I deleted the div it left the rounded corners missing.

.container {
width: 1000px;
margin: auto;
margin-top: 30px;
background-color: #ffffff;
border-radius: 30px;
-webkit-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
box-shadow: 0 0 50px 7px #000;
}

delete
-webkit-border-radius: 40px;
-moz-border-radius: 40px;
just a guess but not consistent anyway box-radius shou be enough

Its the paddings you are using on sidebar and content. give them some margins and you should be gold

thank you... replaced the padding with margins and its all good now. weird thing is it worked fine until I added a div at the top the removed it.

so too much padding pushes the corners out? why only the top?
