Just read in my manual that HTML5 will make my previous question mute...
however since I'm using CS5 I don't think the program has the ability to create
code in HTML5...any thoughts?

ah just saw this. no i dont think so. you could always add new snippets though which is a good feature in dreamweaver.

All the HTML5 tags and CSS3 properties are included from/in DW CS 5.5 and onwards.

That's true, Dave. But there's no HTML5 & CSS3 code hinting in DW CS5 and below. Code hinting saves me so much time if I can type 2 or 3 characters and just hit return to get the full tag or property.

sublime text/top style - true you have to pay for both if you intend using them for a while, but not so expensive ;)

Yeah, there are of course much cheaper and better alternatives and I think I use 2% from what DW can do, so it's actually pointless to have it still as my main editor, but I'm so used to it. :)

One day... when Adobe is trying to force me to go into the Creative Cloud :)

its a hard habit to break. i am in my usual i will not upgrade phase, and of course i mean it this time.
I use an IDE more but really cant decide on that either , and notepad++ for editing
