Hiya,

I'm trying to create two drop down lists. The first one has about 200 choices of animals and then a second list has about 20 choices of different information. I've no problem in creating the list but what I can't figure out is how to then create hyperlinks depending on the choices made. I'm using dreamweaver mx but can't figure this out. Any help would be gratefully received. Would I need an extension?

Thanks
Paul

Thanks,

This is a reduced version of the menu's - there will be a lot more choices but I just don't know how to proceed.

<form name="form1">
<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent.maincontent',this,0)">
<option>Please Select.......</option>
<option value="Breed%20Standards/Affenpinscher.htm">Affenpinscher</option>
<option value="Breed%20Standards/Airedale%20Terrier.htm">Airedale Terrier</option>
<option value="Breed%20Standards/Alaskan%20Malamute.htm">Alaskan Malamute</option>
<option value="Breed%20Standards/Australian%20Cattle%20Dog.htm">Australian Cattle Dog</option>
</select>
<select name="select">
<option>Description</option>
<option selected>Breed Standard</option>
<option>Breed Clubs</option>
</select>
</form>

Thanks :-)

use some javascript. example:
<form>
<select
onChange="if(this.selectedIndex!=0)
self.location=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value">
<option value="" selected>Select a page
<option value="1.htm">1
<option value="2.htm">2
<option value="3.htm">3
<option value="4.htm">4
<option value="5.htm">5
<option value="6">6
</select>
</form>

Thanks but I don't think I've explained myself properly. If I use the following code

<h1><span class="style4">Breed Information</span></h1>
<p>Please select the breed your interested in:-</p>
<form name="form1">
<select name="select">
<option>Breed</option>
<option>Affenpinscher</option>
<option>Afghan Hound</option>
<option>Airdale Terrier</option>
<option>Akita</option>
</select>
<select name="select">
<option>Description</option>
<option>Breed Standard</option>
<option>Breed Clubs</option>
</select>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit">
</form>

I get two list and a submit button. Depending on the user selections from both lists clicking the submit button would create a hyperlink dependant on those choices. So choosing Afghan Terrier and description would take the user to a different page than if they chose Afghan Terrier and Breed Club.

Thanks
Paul
