Hi all, I am very new to dreamweaver ( downloaded the trial yesterday ) and need some help. I made a page in dreamweaver and then uploaded the index.html and all the image files to godaddy.com, my hosting site, and my page looks like this....

http://i589.photobucket.com/albums/ss340/nastynathaniel2323/wonkywebsitecopycopy_zps4a77a5db.jpg (http://s589.photobucket.com/user/nastynathaniel2323/media/wonkywebsitecopycopy_zps4a77a5db.jpg.html)

Everything works mind you, all the links work, it's just the images are not there. Need some guidance please :)

The images are not there where you say they are...hence the crosses, Check the paths to the images or check the server if the images are uploaded. I don't see any text by the way... did you create everything with images? Also your text?

Anyways... you say the page is online somewhere, so can you share the web adress with us! Easier for us to look and debug.

here is the page http://naterossart.com/ I have text and images in the page. The images are in the folder, and are uploaded to the hosting site, but for some reason don't show up

The images are not in your 'images' folder:

Also the way you created that page (save slices for web in Ps) is not the way you should create web pages, because Ps doesn't know how to create them conform best practices.

I know you just started, but try to dive into HTML & CSS from the start, otherwise you make it for yourself cumbersome with point and clicking to create web pages in Dreamweaver, and you can create much more awesome stuff.then if you keep on doing things in DW design view.

Here''s a good start for you:

I get the error code "image folder not inside the site" but the image folder is inside the folder I made for the index.html page. And it is full of the images for the site. I looked up that error message and someone said it's a bug?

Also, here are my images on my godaddy host...

infact http://naterossart.com/BlogButton.gif is there so the ima gs are not in a folder but in the root directory

Ok, I told you I was new right? Well the guy from godaddy told me the wrong thing. He told me to take all the images out of the folder named "images" and to put them in the root folder. Thats what was messing me up. So once I uploaded them when they were in the folder, everything worked out and my site is up and running. Thanks guys
