I'm new to Dreamweaver and due to a disability I cannot type very well. So, I like to work in design view.

Is there a way to add I guess what you would call special effects to images using Dreamweaver working through designed view?

I have done some googling and some searching on YouTube all I have been able to come up with so far is affects where you move the mouse over the image or click the image and a larger image appears. This is not exactly what I'm going for.

I guess the best way to describe what I am looking for would be in effect similar to the transitional effects that you can add to be a slide in PowerPoint or at least something similar to those it affects.

Thank you in advance for all the help, this form has been extremely helpful to me.

You won't be able to do that through Dreamweaver. You'll need to find some javascript to make that happen.

Just to be clear, Corrosive means that you can't do that using just design view but you can of course achieve this using Dreamweaver's code view.

Sorry if that was obvious.

Two good options,

This is one of the most basic / easiest sliders to set up

http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/

My choice here though is

http://www.slidesjs.com

Has some great features, easy to use and light weight.

I recorded a video tutorial to show a past user how to implement it, this should help you get started with it. Just pretend to you're called Keith and ignore the first bit.

You don't have to type that much at all just copy and paste the bulk.

Thanks

Richard

Thank you to everyone for the help. I'll check out what the options entail and figure out how I want to go about it tomorrow.
