Hello Everyone!

I am working with a website that I created in Fireworks. Afterward I went to File>Export and chose CSS & Images. When I opened the file in Dreamweaver I saw nothing but the footer text. There were no images and the layout really looks horrible.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I may have done wrong? Is there a better option. I worked really hard on this file and I would hate to have to lose all of my work.

Thanks!:)

build the framework in DW with html and css then export images from fireworks. relying on adobe to do the work for you will - as you discovered - result in a mess ;)

Dave,

Thank you for that advice. You just confirmed something that I just realized today.

After I posted this question I found a tutorial series on YouTube. This person did about 20 different tutorials on the proper way to build on a Dreamweaver framework and use Fireworks images in the website. These tutorials were very long but he explains everything beautifully.

So I guess I will take a little more time to learn how to work with frameworks.
