I have recently been introduced to the world of Link Sharing and Traffic Sharing sites.
Are these actually beneficial for SEO as most of the time is it not from a Unique source just the same person over and over.
Does anyone know of any sites where you do not have to Pay?

Many Thanks

Don't do it. It's just bollocks. Concentrate on your site, your mark up, your content and success will come... the right way ;)

Ditto... Good informational content is especially key.

Traffic sharing has nothing to do with SEO afaik.

If you think you can outsmart the people at Google, I would give 'Link Sharing' a try 8)

So not to bother then? Once again I had no idea and am just trying to increase my SEO. All SEO experts seem to talk a lot about link sharing but I suppose they are doing that for their own gain.
Thanks

All SEO experts seem to talk a lot about link sharing Can you share a link for this Harrumph? Links are essential to SEO.

This page http://searchengineland.com/seotable/ probably gives the best visual representation of what is important in SEO and the dos and don'ts. You can see that quality links are right up there in terms or 'off page' SEO factors but also check the 'violations' part where it talks about 'paid links' and 'link spam' harming SEO. Paying for links is just obvious to Google and you'll soon get penalised for it.

However, if you write quality content or sell quality products that people find useful and want to link to then you'll start to build up some 'natural' links and that will benefit your site no end.

The golden rule with Google is that 'if it feels spammy then it will harm your site, if it feels natural then it will do you good'.

Now ask yourself if paying for people to link to your site feels a bit like cheating...

One thing is must be keep in mind that mostly because visitors these sites produce is not useful and it is not value your some time to effort.I suggest you to go and learn more about SEO and try to create your own quality visitors from google.

Exactly, huge traffic with visitors who aren't interested in your content can make more damage than good to your site opinion and ranks.

I really wouldnt suggest traffic exchange sites, unless you have huge amounts of traffics popunder ads wont pay much, and it also depends on the type of site your running..
